Paul Halstead

FIRM ADMINISTRATOR

While serving as a camp counselor in college, Paul was portrayed in a skit by a young man who ran around the stage shouting “Let me organize that!” And that is, more or less the story of his life; from books in the college library, to (way to many) papers in graduate school, to developing training for a courier company, to kids in a large church setting, to bills in the Texas Legislature, to the operations of a Tax Lien lending company. Yes, that was the reader’s digest version of his vitae. As the firm’s first Administrator, Paul is once again in heaven documenting policies and procedures and “organizing that.” In his personal life he enjoys the expensive hobbies of snow skiing and scuba diving. (He claims sharks are NOT dangerous.) A former marathon runner, he’s now overweight and reads a lot! His other passion has been singing – and has acted as a chorus member in several Austin Opera productions.  Paul lives with his husband in Lakeway and is trying to get in the habit of swimming every day. It will probably still be a work in progress as you are reading this!
